Link Websites

Link Websites is a FREE tool for webmasters who are serious about creating valuable content based links by helping them to contact other webmasters and set up quality links.

We all know that the search engines place a high value on inbound links from relevant websites with the links embedded as anchor text within well written content rather than on a separate ‘links’ page buried amongst 25, 50 or more other links.

In fact the people behind the ContentNow* service reckon that inbound links from 7 to 8 content-for-links partners are worth some 100+ reciprocal links. To further quote them ‘However it is again worth noting that it is considerably harder to obtain links this way’.

There are a number of straightforward link exchange sites out there but they seem to be so focused on generating high volumes of reciprocal links that the quality of those links MUST be suspect in the eyes of Google and the other search engines. The other problem that we face is ‘link fatigue’ where people receive so many link requests via email that they have reached the stage of simply ignoring these emails as the quality is so variable.

How does Link Websites work?

Step 1:   Register and create a free account, then follow the activation instructions.

Step 2:   Enter details for all of your websites where you are willing to place outbound content based links to benefit other sites. Place your sites in relevant categories to make them easier for other members to find. You can submit your sites to multiple categories if necessary. (If you feel that a more appropriate category needs to be created for your site then contact Link Websites Admin and we will do this for you.)

(Website URLs are not displayed to non-members and you can choose to hide your website URLs from all members if you wish to maintain your privacy.)

Step 3:   Review the Website Directory and determine which other sites will make good quality content link partners. Then contact the webmasters via the Link Websites messaging system and discuss how you can help each other.
